Huggies Updates, 1 month later...

So, in my last post I mentioned that we had officially #IChooseHuggies and became a Huggies family. A month and a half later, and we're officially on the fence again.

We LOVE the Huggies Little Movers that we have, and will continue using them. The one blow-out we had was caused by our poor daughter's stomach flu and wasn't the fault of the diaper; no messes since! And she is still rash-free from the diaper perspective. Our daughter has started full-on crawling and there is no leaking or bunching.

BUT we decided to go balls-to-the-wall and completely change our brand preferences to Huggies, which may have been a mistake. By this, I mean we also changed our preferred wipes to Huggies. In doing so, it appears we have some rash issues that I've been working hard to clear-up. We have a HUGE box of these wipes, so we're going to keep trying them and see if they just take some getting used to with our daughter's skin, though I do have to say that the quality, texture, and feel of the wipes is "cheap" compared to our preferred brand.

Final Verdict: Huggies Little Movers diapers are awesome! If you haven't tried them already, I wholeheartedly would encourage you to get a small box and try them for yourself.

Huggies Little Movers Moved Me!

Since my daughter was born, I had always used another brand of diapers. I was convinced if we used a different diaper she would break out in a rash, so I stuck with the diapers we knew. Once while at Costco we got a sample of Huggies diapers, and I convinced myself that the two diapers I used gave her a rash (in the five seconds she lasted before she peed in them - I don't think so!)

But recently, since she's started army crawling and generally moving around more, I noticed that those diapers didn't fit her as well. Also, she is quite small for her age, but as she's been gaining weight and has the cutest little Buddha-belly, the other brand of diapers weren't fitting as well as they did before.

The Huggies Little Movers are amazing! First of all, they fit so much better - there is a thick, stretchy waistband that helps prevent blowouts and keeps the diaper on snugly. They hold a lot of liquid so there are no overnight leaks, and they hug baby "curves" and don't really bunch. I am a changed mommy - I've rushed out and bought a huge box to replace our old brand.

Downside to them? I find they have a pretty strong urine odor when they are wet compared to other diapers - even if she only makes a really tiny pee, I can smell it incredibly strongly. Maybe it's a good thing and it will encourage me to change her a little more frequently. In any case, it hasn't stopped me from loving them, and I have officially switched my brand preference!

Thanks Influenster!
